*puts a bookmark between the pages to hold my place and closes the book, stretches, then scoots of the bed walking to the window. pulls the curtain back and looks out the window. Slips my tennis shoes on and walks down the stairs going outside*

*walks a couple of blocks then enters the animal shelter. waves and greets the receptionist on duty. Walks to the room with the kittens and begins cleaning out their cages, emptying and refilling the water and food bowls. Humming cheerfully as I work. Spends time playing and cuddling the kittens until my shift is over*
